After the Home shirt with the return of the Corsiero del Sole, and the Away kit celebrating Napoli’s connection with Argentina, the club have turned to their own history once again for the new Third Kit. With Napoli celebrating their centenary, the memories of the past take on a new place in the present. The chosen reference for this release is red, a colour that marked the Diego Maradona era: a shade frequently worn in those years, and one that has remained part of the visual memory of the supporters.

The project, titled “Tutto il Rosso di Napoli”, brings back not only the colour, but also details from the design of the 1986/87 shirt, the one worn during the season of Napoli’s first Scudetto. The ribbed collar and sleeve cuffs feature white and sky blue striped inserts, while contrasting side panels frame the splits at the hips and the slightly rounded hem. The Napoli crest and the EA7 logo, the club’s technical partner, are positioned in reverse, as a tribute to the shirts of the past. Inside the collar sits the “ceNto” logo, a detail created for the centenary, while the “Partenopei” lettering on the back of the neck carries the name and spirit of a city inseparable from its club. As with the Home and Away shirts, the Third Kit also includes NFC technology, integrated into the “Authentic” patch, offering access to exclusive Napoli content.

Red is not only a reference to what came before. In the launch campaign created by PURO, produced by Luca Gardella and directed by Gabriele Savino, the colour belongs to Napoli before it belongs to the shirt: to the streets, the homes and the voices of those who experience the club every day, between the sea and Vesuvius. The video, which you can watch below, follows Napoli Momentum through a visual language suspended between the classic codes of the music video and the gaze of documentary.
