Juventus continues to fight the stigma around mental health with Stories of Strength, a project that has deep roots.

The third edition, created in collaboration with Progetto Happiness, tells the story of three fans who shared their moments of fragility. And who were helped, in some way, by the Bianconeri team as well.

On the occasion of the last International Mental Health Day, on October 10, 2025, Juventus invited its community to do something revolutionary: to confide in each other and openly talk about fragility, sharing the difficult moments that characterize all our lives. In that case, the call to action was primarily directed at Juventus fans, but in such cases, football allegiance takes a back seat. From there, a movement began that effectively led to the third edition of the Stories of Strengthproject: born in 2023 with the involvement of both the men’s and women’s first teams, as well as the technical staff and other figures close to the Juventus world, it is a vehicle through which the Juventus club aims to combat the stigma surrounding mental health.

For this new edition, the idea was to involve three fans who had responded to Juventus’ invitation to open up and share their personal stories: Hani, who comes from Canada and is a member of JOFC Toronto; Johan, a Colombian and member of JOFC Colombia Bianconera; and Pietro, who lives in Italy and has always followed Juventus. These three individuals managed, through their experiences, to speak about their moments of vulnerability and turn them into an opportunity to connect with other Juventus fans. In the name of juventinità, of course.

The choice to involve three men was not at all random: according to the World Health Organization, depression is one of the main causes of suffering among males, who often express their emotions less and tend to isolate themselves in difficult times. With the collaboration of Giuseppe Bertuccio D’Angelo, founder and face of Progetto Happiness, Hani, Johan, and Pietro were approached to share their story, their difficulties, their rebirth, so that they could inspire all those who face similar issues or are related to mental health. The video is available on the Juventus club’s channels, including YouTube:

As mentioned, Juventus has been committed for years to allowing people to open up freely, share their experiences, and help all those who are going through difficult times. With the same goal, T.E.A.M. Strength (Tools for Empowerment And Mental Strength) was also born, a series of meetings, now in its second edition, dedicated to Juventus people. A program designed to delve into topics related to mental well-being, promote greater understanding, and offer practical tools to address them more consciously, in both professional and personal life. Among the topics covered, also thanks to the contribution of Giuseppe Bertuccio D’Angelo: mindfulness techniques, intergenerational dialogue, false consensus, and the concept of happiness.
