The World Cup quarter-finals are almost here, with only a few matches left before we know the name of the captain who, alongside his national team, will lift football’s most coveted trophy in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. It is easy – almost inevitable – to feel that we are moving towards the games everyone has been waiting for: the most anticipated, the most tense, the most intense matches of the year, and of the entire four-year cycle. adidas has unveiled the Chaos vs Control pack, with Predator and F50 taking on new colours at the feet of some of the greatest players in the world – from Lamine Yamal to Ousmane Dembélé, from Jude Bellingham to Pedri.

Once again, adidas places two different ideas against each other through its boots: the F50, built for speed and movement, and the Predator, made for touch, control and precision. The F50 arrives with a white base, solar purple stripes and solar turbo accents; the Predator Elite FT combines a white foundation with solar turbo stripes and bold black details. The pack leaves adidas players with a choice: chaos or control. The new versions of the boots will be available from 8 July at selected retailers and online at adidas.com, joined by updated colourways for the F50 Sparkfusion and Copa franchises, which bring the new look to further performance models.
