AC Milan’s new third kit, created by PUMA, brings “Rossoneri in a new light” to life. The idea is embedded in the shirt itself: its design details react to UV light, creating a changing appearance that shifts with the way the kit is viewed. The Rossoneri colours are given a new balance. The black base is stronger and more pronounced than ever, while the red gains intensity and presence, offering a fresh take on a familiar combination without losing what makes it unmistakable.
Maikel Oettle, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan, said: «We tell our story through the things that represent us, and the Rossoneri colours are the clearest expression of that. For Milan, the Third Kit is an opportunity to explore the space between tradition and what comes next: bringing our colours into a new setting where football meets contemporary culture. This is how we continue to evolve while remaining unmistakably Milan». Dominique Gathier, VP Teamsport at PUMA, added: «The Rossoneri colours are among the most recognisable in world football. Milan supporters have lived with them for generations, and they mean far more than a shirt. That is why we approached this design with simplicity. Every choice serves one idea: taking what matters most to Rossoneri fans and giving it a new expression. That is the approach we bring whenever we work with Milan».
The Authentic shirt features PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric alongside dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies, designed to manage moisture and support temperature regulation. The Replica shirt is made through RE technology, using 95% recycled polyester created from textile waste. The Third Kit is unveiled during Milan’s Pre-Season Tour in Indonesia, one of the club’s strongest and most passionate international markets. To mark the launch, PUMA and AC Milan hosted a free public event at Sparks, Senayan Park in Jakarta. The space featured games, activities and a PUMA pop-up store, with AC Milan players meeting supporters during a dedicated Meet&Greet. The shirt will be worn for the first time on 8 August, when Milan face Chelsea at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
