Seen from above, the great football stadiums have a particular appeal. At San Siro, with its unmistakable architecture and sense of history, the view from the roof takes on a character of its own. Milan has brought that experience to Club 1899, its premium hospitality programme for home matches, with the launch of Rooftop Experience. Guests can make their way to the highest point of the Giuseppe Meazza, where a Skywalk 55 metres above the ground offers a spectacular view of the stadium’s iconic red towers, the stands and the pitch. It is a chance to take in the scene before kick-off.
Ahead of the recent match against Bologna, Rooftop Experience offered guests a panoramic view across Milan from one of the city’s most striking vantage points. Below, the stands were filling with supporters, making for a spectacle in their own right. Food and drink accompanied the experience, adding to its exclusivity. Club 1899 has been developing a range of hospitality offers that take matchday beyond the pitch and the stands, creating opportunities for partners and guests to meet and build relationships. Rooftop Experience also fits into RedBird’s long-term vision for the club. Through its owner-operator model, Milan’s ownership brings international experience in sport and entertainment to the way the club develops its business.
In the 2025/26 season, Club 1899 welcomed more than 65,000 guests. The derby against Inter set a new record for places sold, with more than 1,800, excluding season ticket holders. Online sales reflect the programme’s international reach: 60% of buyers came from abroad and 40% from the domestic market, with the United States, the UK, Switzerland, Germany and France among the leading markets. Offline, companies accounted for 61% of buyers and private individuals for 39%. More than 500 companies took up hospitality offers, through season-long packages and individual match purchases. The number of corporate season clients grew by around 65% between 2021/22 and 2025/26, while the renewal rate rose from 59% in 2022/23 to 88% in 2025/26.
Milan has also introduced hospitality formats that do not depend on a particular seat, including San Siro Museum and Sports Pub Post-Match Access, opening up the offer to new audiences and creating more ways to experience the stadium. Corner Seats, which include access to the Honour Lounge, a sit-down dinner and valet parking, strengthen the premium offer alongside Front Row Seats. With Rooftop Experience and its wider range of hospitality options, Club 1899 is giving supporters and guests new ways to experience matchday, extending the occasion beyond the action on the pitch and into the stadium itself.
